The Saint Vincent de Paul Society is an international Christian voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing direct practical assistance for anyone in need.

As members of the society we see our work as a vocation, caring for people in the parish who have various needs which otherwise cannot be met. Amongst a host of tasks we give priority to visiting the sick and the housebound in their homes and in hospital in a spirit of friendship and charity.

Our membership numbers eight, we meet once a week on Thursday evenings and our work is generously supported by the whole congregation with their prayers and a monthly collection in church.

More members are always welcome and we would be delighted to invite you to come to a meeting and give us a trial run without obligation!
